Stuarts Point, NSW, is a small, tranquil coastal village located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, just a seven-kilometre drive from the M1 Highway.
Our Art Deco home, Little River Cottage, sits proudly on the banks above the Little Arm of the Macleay River. Facing the Pacific Ocean, we are blessed with lovely, cool coastal breezes that cross the water. We host holidays, weekend escapes, and short-term rentals for older couples and families. Please note that we do not accept bookings for families with babies and children under eight.

What we offer at Little River Cottage
You'll be renting the whole house. Parties/ gatherings/functions are not permitted at the cottage.
Little River Cottage, built in 1946, features two bedrooms and an open sleepout. Its coastal layout reflects the era in which it was designed, contributing to its unique charm. We sleep five or six people only.

- Two bedrooms - one x queen-size bed, 2 x KING Singles beds, sleepout ( open) with one x double bed

Stuarts Point is a sleepy coastal village with a great local supermarket, bottle shop, chemist, takeaway shop, butcher, tavern, bowling club, and café. However, it does not offer the nightlife of larger cities. For this reason, Stuarts Point is not a party town; it is a place of quiet beauty, abundant birdlife, great waterways for fishing, beautiful deserted beaches, coastal walks, and proximity to many other towns and national parks to explore—representing the quieter side of life.
We offer pet-friendly options upon application; dogs are welcome, but cats are not permitted. Dogs must not be left alone at home, especially indoors. Stuart's Point is a sandy area that makes digging under fences easy, and dogs can quickly escape the property so they must remain with you. Please provide us with information on your pets. There are lots of dogs in Stuarts Point. Only the backyard is fenced.
Our Leash-free beach is pretty deserted all year, and it makes for a wonderful, fun walk with your best fur buddy. Take a hat, water for yourselves and the pooches, and sunscreen. There is no shade.
