Stayed at River Cottage for a week. It was fabulous to walk across the bridge to the beach. Plus I also had a car and I was able to visit Grassy Heads Beach as well as Scott Head without any hassle at all. The house was extremely comfortable with air-conditioning for some of the hot nights. Great linen. If I had dogs the back fenced yard would’ve been fantastic. There is a great little supermarket just up the road. Extremely quiet and relaxing, well set up for someone like me who likes to cook with herbs. Owners go to that extra effort to make sure all those little things that make a holiday memorable are there. Very responsive if any questions need to be asked.

We enjoyed where we stayed. Walking distance to everywhere. Fishing was great and easy to launch the boats. I visited surrounding towns that were fantastic.
We love coming to this property. The location is perfect for fishing, yabbying and kayaking. The verandah is our favourite spot to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze when we are not out enjoying the river or the beach.The house is perfect for relaxing, the beds are comfortable and we love the location to the water and the local shops. It has everything we need. The hosts are amazing and have proved to be responsive to any concerns we have. We will be back again and again.

We have been coming to this house for years and every year is better than the last. Our hosts are friendly and helpful. The location always has a coastal breeze, and we walk everywhere. We swim the dogs at the river or beach. This holiday we fished from the walk bridge. We will be back.
